Cookie Policy
Last updated: March 31, 2026 · Version 1.1
Issued by Spotbookr Inc on behalf of Spotsavr
Introduction
This Cookie Policy applies to spotsavr.com and app.spotsavr.com, both operated by Spotbookr Inc. It explains how we use cookies, pixel tags, local storage, and similar tracking technologies (collectively, “Cookies”) when you use our Service.
This Cookie Policy should be read alongside our Data Policy and Terms & Conditions.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They are sent back to the originating website on each subsequent visit, or to another website that recognises that cookie. Cookies are used to make websites work more efficiently, remember your preferences, and provide information to the site owner about how users interact with the site.
In addition to traditional cookies, we may also use:
- Local Storage & Session Storage: Browser-based storage used to retain information during or between sessions.
- Pixel Tags / Web Beacons: Small graphic elements embedded in pages or emails that allow us to track interactions. Spotsavr uses a 1×1 transparent tracking pixel in notification and recap emails to record open events.
- Device Fingerprinting: Technical signals from your device (browser type, OS, screen resolution, etc.) used for security and fraud prevention.
2. Types of Cookies
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Service to function and cannot be switched off. They are set in response to actions you take, such as logging in or setting your preferences. Without these cookies, Spotsavr cannot operate.
Functional Cookies
These cookies allow us to remember choices you make (such as your preferred language or display settings) and provide enhanced, personalized features. They may be set by us or by third-party providers.
Analytics & Performance Cookies
These cookies help us understand how users interact with the Service, which pages are visited most, how long users spend on certain features, and where errors occur. This information is used to improve the Service. Data collected is generally aggregated and does not identify you personally, but it is associated with your session and may be linkable to your account.
Research & Development Cookies
As part of the Spotbookr Group’s commitment to technical research, we set cookies that capture behavioral and interaction data used for product development, algorithm training, and quality scoring improvements across the Spotbookr Group platforms. By using Spotsavr, you consent to this use.
